Notice is hereby given of the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Australia - Melbourne Inc. and the Special General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, 26 April 2023.

 

The 2023 Annual General Meeting and Special General Meeting will be held at CO.AS.IT, 199 Faraday Street, Carlton (enter via Museo Italiano). Registrations will commence at 6.00 pm for a 6.30 pm start.

 

It will be a great opportunity for all Members to meet and contribute to the Chamber's advancement. Refreshments will be served prior to the commencement of the meeting.

 

An important point to note is that if you are wishing to participate in voting, you must be a paid-up financial member under Rule 12. (4) of the Constitution'The rights of a member (including the right to vote) who has not paid the annual subscription by the due date are suspended until the subscription is paid, provided that the suspension shall not apply if the annual subscription is paid at least 2 business days before the annual general meeting'.

 

Additionally, please note that Honorary members and non-financial members are not entitled to vote in accordance with Rule 13, General Rights & Liabilities of Members.

 

If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2023 and would like to actively participate at the AGM and Special General Meeting, the ICCI Melbourne team will assist you in completing the renewal process. Simply email marketing@iccimelbourne.com.au to request renewal documentation.

 

The Special General Meeting is being called following the Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico's recommendations to all Italian Chambers of Commerce and Industry globally to update their constitutions.
